It was enormous peace of mind to know that our luggage was in good hands and would be reliably waiting for us at the end of a long day; throughout, we were really impressed with your timely and helpful communication throughout (even after hours when we momentarily could not connect with our host in Hay on Wye, after our longest day’s hike and worried there’d been a miscommunication). We appreciated too the chance to name a charity of our choice to contribute to—it meant the walk felt like a tribute to my mother who recently passed, being able to make a favorite animal rescue as recipient. Offa’s Dyke route itself was so lush and scenic, we had fantasies of retiring here, and the challenge of the 90 or so miles with not inconsiderable elevation made us feel quite accomplished at end, for teachers with sedentary jobs!
