There are excellent transport links to get you to the start of the Southern section of the Offa’s Dyke Path and safely back home again.

By Air

Bristol Airport


From the airport, a taxi is the easiest option.  They cost around £70 – £90 from Bristol airport to Chepstow.

*Note that the National Express takes you to Cardiff first and can take up to nearly 4 hours to reach Chepstow.

By Train

By Car – Long Stay Car Parks

Contact Monmouthshire County Council to arrange long stay parking in Chepstow.

Current parking charges for long stay:
 5 day ticket = £21.00
 6 day ticket = £25.00

Contact Powys County Council to arrange long stay parking in Hay-on-Wye.
Daily rate (approx.) £4.00 (check with council).

NB The nearest train station to Hay-on-Wye is Hereford.
